It underpins every form of our economic activity, powering our industries, our vehicles, our workplaces, and our homes. Energy in Australia is a vital reference for anyone with an interest in Australia’s energy policy. It covers all aspects of energy production and use, from natural resources through to final consumption. Australia’s prosperity is built upon its abundance of energy sources including coal, uranium, gas and renewables.
