This report contains estimates of wine grape production in the 2006-07 vintage, as well as production projections for and 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-10. Estimates have been made for specialist wine grape, multi-purpose and minor varieties in each of Australia’s wine grape producing regions.
This miniwebsite contains data for each of the geographical indication (GI) regions as defined in the Register of Protected Names, maintained by the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation. Each region is also part of a larger zone, and data is presented at both the region and zone level. The state-level sheets contain data for all of the regions within a particular state.
Aggregated data for Australia may also be accessed from this website, the data is presented separately for warm and cool climate regions, as well as for Australia as a whole.
